Sprouting Minds
Hi, I’m Josephine—the founder and educator behind Sprouting Minds Childcare.

I’ve spent the past ten years working in early childhood education—as a nanny, a daycare educator, and now as the owner of this home-based program. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside so many children and families, and through that journey, my vision became clear: I wanted to create something more personal. A space that felt like home, where children could feel seen, safe, and deeply valued. Sprouting Minds is that vision brought to life.

Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, I see children as capable, curious learners who thrive when given the time, space, and trust to explore the world in their own way. My role is to guide, support, and listen. I am here offering experiences that reflect their interests, emotions, and individual growth.

While I lead the daily rhythm of the daycare, I’m supported by the most beautiful team I could ask for—my three sisters. Each of them plays a unique role in creating a loving, family-centered environment that feels like a true “home away from home.”

When I’m not working with children, you can usually find me outdoors with my dogs, cooking, or capturing little moments through photography. I’m passionate about living creatively and intentionally—and that passion shows up in every part of Sprouting Minds.

This isn’t just a daycare. It’s a space to grow, create, belong, and be loved.
