Intentionally small.
Setting your child up for success.
In these vital early years (ages 2–5), a small and supportive setting lays the foundation for both kindergarten and lifelong success—nurturing confidence, connection, and a love of learning from the very start.

Messy hands make for happy kids.
Each day brings something new—forest walks, baking, individual and group art projects, and hands-on exploration with everything from paint to mud. Rain or shine, we’ll be outside, creating, discovering, and connecting with the world around us. Expect your child to get messy—it means they’re learning, exploring, and fully engaged.

Opening up our home.
Sprouting Minds is more than a classroom—it’s a home away from home.
Set inside our cozy family rancher, the space is designed to feel familiar, welcoming, and safe. Children are greeted with warmth, comfort, and consistency each day, helping them feel grounded and secure. By opening up our home, we invite children into an environment where they can relax, explore, and grow at their own pace—surrounded by natural materials, gentle rhythms, and the feeling of being part of a family.
Our Curriculum
Through play, curiosity, exploration, and guided learning, we support 2–5 year olds
in developing the skills they need for kindergarten—and for life.

Kindergarten Readiness
We gently prepare children for their next big step by introducing foundational skills in language, math, and fine motor development through meaningful play. Activities like storytelling, phonetic games, patterning, and name recognition help build confidence and curiosity, ensuring children feel ready and excited for school.

Inquiry-Based Learning
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we follow the children’s natural interests and questions—using them as the starting point for projects and explorations. Whether it’s building a bird’s nest, experimenting with water, or investigating the seasons, learning unfolds through real-world experiences that are rich in wonder and discovery.

Whole-Child Development
We nurture the heart as much as the mind. Emotional literacy, social skills, independence, and self-regulation are at the core of everything we do. Our calm, responsive environment helps children build trust, express their feelings, and grow into confident, capable individuals—ready for both school and life beyond.
Small Class Size
With over a decade of experience working in childcare, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful a small group setting can be.
At Sprouting Minds, our class size is small to create a warm, calm, and deeply connected environment. This intimacy allows for strong bonds, meaningful one-on-one time, and a sense of trust that helps children feel safe and settled—like they’re stepping into a home that feels like their own. Fewer children means more time to truly see each child, to support emotional regulation, and to foster a peaceful rhythm that meets their needs and nurtures their growth.

Beyond Academics.
Respect and Regulation.
At Sprouting Minds, we see emotional growth and a connection to the natural world as just as essential as learning ABCs and 123s.
Children are not only preparing for school—they’re learning how to understand themselves, care for others, and take their place in the world with kindness and confidence.
We nurture emotional regulation by helping children name their feelings, navigate challenges, and develop calming strategies within a peaceful and supportive environment.
Through warm relationships and responsive care, we model empathy, patience, and problem-solving—laying the foundation for self-awareness and resilience.
Our days are also rooted in nature. Whether we’re observing worms in the garden, listening to birdsongs, or exploring the textures of leaves and bark, we help children build a sense of wonder and respect for the living world around them. We treat even the smallest creatures with care, fostering a deep understanding that we share this earth, and our classroom, with all kinds of life.
